About

My name is Ted Keylon and I work as a living history actor at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum complex in Springfield, IL. I hold a degree in art from UIS with grad study in communication and multimedia, sell prints of my paintings of Lincoln and others as well as play music, produce media, and act in community theater. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, 2nd Degree ReiKi, and an enlightenment-activist and mantic. I like sound experimentation, art therapy/Buddha-love-talk and inveigling matrices.

I am an acrylic painter and I produce and sell art prints of my work through RMD Gallery in Springfield, IL. I occasionally run auctions on eBay and my painting site is here. I am a member of the Prairie Art Alliance.

I have been the community producer of a local cable access show on Access 4, Blowing the Whistle, since 1996, a volunteer DJ at WQNA 88.3 FM since 2000 and at InterFACE Pirate Radio, London since 2002. I am also a 2nd Degree Reiki Practitioner and my Master is Gloria Ferguson.

I play music on two of my radio shows and I try to focus on experimental/unusual material. I usually only play music on CDs that is either .cda, .wav, or .aif formats, so it will have to be sent to P.O.B. 1233, Springfield, IL 62705-1233. I am a community producer of a cable access program called, Blowing the Whistle, Wednesday nightrs at 6:30 P.M. Central.

I play tenor ukulele and sing in the band Hot Bag O’ Donuts and I play drums in the live band, Rebel Bass.
